to a great auntie

you always told me when i was out of order,you called a spade a spade and you held no punches.i loved you for that.i miss going to your room and going to give you a hug only to be told to get lost by one of your dogs.we kept in touch even when i moved away,i miss you so much and i hope your now at piece.till we meet again auntie winnie you are one in a million and you can never be forgotten.so much love i send to you lots of love hugs and kisses kirsty xxxxxxxx

Hi Winnie just a little word to say i am thinking of you. you have been gone 3.50 years now. I don't know where the time goes. I remember getting a christmas card off you and all it said was 'goodbye i love you' Of course i didn't understand why you wrote that. You must have known your time was near. I am sorry i didn't respond to the card, it would have been good speaking to you. You lived in Hull and i live in Cambridge. I was going to see you in the new year, in fact i was traveling to Hull on the 1st of January 2005. when you left, so instead of a weekend of chatting and catching up, it was a time of grief and 'if only's'. I miss you our Win, and i know i am going to see you again. Look out for me, i will be jumping up and down with delight when you come back to me. until then sleep tight. Maz xxxxxx

A Passer By (Sister) May 29, 2008

words of comfort

on the 1st of January 2005, i was traveling to Hull to be with my sister and brother vincent. Little did i know that as I was passing the Hull Royal hospital my sister Winnie was in there losing her fight for life. I was 10 minutes at my brothers house when Winnies husband rang and said she had gone. Not the best of new years. She left her 5 sisters 2 brothers and her 4children, many grandchildren. Winnie was ill for a long time, but she never made a fuss. My message to all my family is that our Win is at rest now, no longer in pain and she is safe in the memory of my God Jehovah. Wait sweet sister until it is time to wake up. God bless to all my family. including you Rita.
